1. Agreement and operator
These Terms govern access to and use of plugged.host, including the hosting panel, nodes, websites, and related community support (the Service). The Service is operated by plugged.host, Paris, France (“plugged.host”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you have read our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.
2. Eligibility and minors
You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required by the law where you live. In France, the applicable minimum for independent consent to certain online processing is 15. These thresholds reflect Article 45 of the French Data Protection Act and Discord’s age terms. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Service.
The Service is not directed to children below the applicable minimum age. If we learn that an ineligible child is using it, we may close the account and remove associated personal data.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account information, maintain access to your email or linked Discord account, protect your password, passkeys, API keys, and recovery credentials, and promptly tell us through a private Discord support ticket if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for people to whom you grant server or subuser access. Accounts may not be sold, transferred, shared publicly, or used to evade restrictions. We may require reasonable verification before restoring access or handling a sensitive request.
4. Free Service and resources
The current Service is provided without charge. Resource allocations, supported software, node placement, network ports, backups, databases, and other features are subject to availability and may differ between users. A displayed allocation is a maximum permitted amount, not a promise of constant performance or availability.
You must use resources fairly and only for supported workloads. We may introduce, change, reduce, reclaim, or rebalance free allocations to protect the Service or make capacity available to others. If paid services are introduced, they will be governed by additional terms presented before purchase; these Terms do not authorize recurring charges.
5. Your content and responsibilities
You retain ownership of files, software, databases, server configurations, messages, and other content that you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, transmit, and otherwise process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, maintain, or troubleshoot the Service and comply with law.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to host and use your content. You are responsible for its legality, security, licensing, backups, and the actions of software you run. Do not use plugged.host as the sole copy of important data.
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You must not use, attempt to use, or help others use the Service to:
- break applicable law or infringe copyright, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights;
- create, store, distribute, or control malware, ransomware, credential-stealing tools, botnets, phishing pages, or malicious code;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, spam, abusive automated requests, or deceptive communications;
- launch, coordinate, facilitate, or test denial-of-service attacks, port scans, intrusion attempts, credential stuffing, or unauthorized security testing;
- gain unauthorized access to accounts, networks, systems, data, or computing resources;
- host pirated material or services primarily designed to bypass licences, access controls, sanctions, or enforcement measures;
- mine cryptocurrency or perform similarly intensive computation without our prior written permission;
- impersonate another person, conceal abusive activity, evade a suspension, or interfere with monitoring, metering, or security controls;
- consume unreasonable shared resources, degrade other users’ workloads, or expose the infrastructure to legal, operational, or security risk.
Security research requires prior written permission and a clearly agreed scope. We may investigate suspected abuse and cooperate with infrastructure providers or lawful authorities where required.
7. Suspension, termination, and removal
You may stop using the Service at any time. Account deletion may require a private support request and resolution of servers or resources linked to the account.
We may restrict, suspend, quarantine, or terminate access immediately when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, infrastructure protection, repeated policy violations, inactivity, or resource management. Where practical and safe, we will provide notice or an opportunity to correct a problem, but urgent action may occur without advance notice.
When an account or workload ends, associated content may be deleted without recovery. You must export anything you need before termination. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute rules—continue after termination.
8. Availability, changes, and backups
The Service is evolving and is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted service, a service-level target, permanent support for any workload, error-free software, particular performance, or preservation of data. Maintenance, incidents, third-party failures, security events, capacity changes, and software updates may interrupt access.
Backups, if available, are a convenience and are not guaranteed to be complete, current, recoverable, or retained. Maintain independent backups and test them. We may modify or discontinue any part of the free Service.
9. Warranties and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided without express or implied warranties, including warranties of availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, or data preservation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, plugged.host is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, loss of data, profits, reputation, opportunity, or business interruption arising from the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights, liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or other non-excludable rights under French or applicable local law.
10. French law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us through a private Discord support ticket so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
Subject to mandatory consumer protections and any right you have to bring proceedings in the courts of your residence, disputes fall within the competent courts of Paris, France. Nothing here removes rights or remedies that applicable consumer law requires.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the Service, law, or our practices change. We will publish the new version and effective date here. The panel requires acceptance on every registration and sign-in, so a current link is presented each time. Material changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. If you disagree with an update, stop using the Service.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver.
12. Contact
For support, legal notices, copyright concerns, or abuse reports, join the plugged.host Discord and open a private support ticket. Do not post account details, legal notices, or personal data in a public channel.
